I use two iPhones, one for work and one for personal. I carry them both. When I upgraded to iOS 17, the voice mail gots merged. When someone leaves a VM on one phone, it shows up on both. Same as leaving a VM on one, it shows up in the other. When I delete a VM on my work phone, it gets deleted on the business phone and vice-versa. Not sure what is going on but I need to separate them! Help!

That happened when iOS 17 was introduced and can't be changed, if you use two phones on the same Apple ID. You should have a separate Apple ID on each phone if you don't want your calls and voicemail messages appearing on both phones. I would NEVER use my personal Apple ID on a work phone.
