Apple Cinema will not display an image on Mac Pro

I recently picked up a 2009 Mac Pro and an apple cinema display and I’m not getting an image on it, please help

27” Cinema Display on Mac mini M2 The question was asked before, but I’ll ask again, cause the question is so bloody old (two month seams like light years to apple) Will the 27“ cinema Display work on a M2 Mac mini? would be cool if apple itself and its geniuses will answers this question and not wait till the community answers. MacBook (Retina, 12", 2017) & Apple Studio Display (27") Hi All! After update of the MacBook to macOS Ventura 13 (even after update to 13.0.1), I cannot get my Apple Studio Display working... I've tried clearing the NVRAM, but I still, at best end-up with scattered both displays - see attachment. The Studio Display has been working with previous MacOS (after I've done clean Internet install, otherwise it has been having the same symptoms). Any ideas what am I doing wrong please? Thank you! PS: The Studio Display is working just fine with my other MacBook PRO (14", Apple M1 Max).

27 Cinema Display not recognized by Ventura I have an Apple Cinema Display 27" with display port / thunderbolt 2 port. I purchased the apple thunderbolt 4 to thunderbolt 2 adapter. I have a Mac mini M1 connected to cdmi monitor. After upgrade to Venture, the Cinema Display will not be recognized. The Cinema Display does work with my MacBook Pro running Big Sur.

I got the adapter, but same thing, I really hope it's not just broken.

got an HD TV?

an HDMI cable from HDMI port to the TV might tell you if the HDMI output port was working.

I have a 4K TV not an HD TV, and my GPU doesn't have a HDMI port, so that wouldn't work

I'm pretty sure my monitor is just messed up, I plugged it into my surface pro and it saw a second monitor, but no picture
