How can I add a family member to my Apple Music subscription on Android?

I have been using apple music for a good while, I use android for this, and it works flawlessly, better than apples own iPhone implementation if you want hires. However I spend tone in the usa and in a recent trip want to add my gf to my subscription. This proved impossible through the android app (my ipad and macbook were in the UK.) I even signed up for the family subs through the android app but this defaults to Google pay (which incidentally is more expensive by £2 pm) and you can't add family through the app only through family sharing in an apple device which brings up another issue both apple Id need to be in the same country mine is UK I think hers is US. So I tried tidal which does not have these restrictions but and it's a big but, it's no where near as user friendly. Or as nice an experiance as the apple music (no classical for instance) the way to download music is a complete mess.

Is there anyway round this I don't mind having a second apple Id but I do have an extensive library with my apple music (if it still exists) and a tin of downloaded music on my phones sd card.
