I've been using Garageband for some years now and I think that I'm ready to take the step to Logic Pro. Two questions...

Found another page... Logic Pro for Mac - Free Trial - Apple, so I shall give it a try.
Anyone else who cares to answer these questions?
This is weird. Try to go to another location of the apple website like the us. It was just possible to do so on my computer.

you have to find the correct localization for you, since the so “smart automatic link localization” makes it impossible to send a neutral link from my phone.
Concerning my questions, I found this:

I suppose that the answer is "Yes" to the first question. As for the second one, would it be tricky to move all individual settings, plugins etc. to one single/common bus?
Please note that I'm a newbie on this, so bear with my ignorance.
1. Are GB files 100% compatible with Logic (i.e. can I open/import the files without losing anything)?
2. What happens to settings on individual tracks? If I understand things right Logic works with buses and preferably one common bus for all settings, plugins etc.

What makes you think of that? As long as the plugins are compatible to the most recent Logic version, it should work. And if you don't enable "complete Features", a Logic project looks almost like a garageband project.

Where can I find that trial version? I only have a "Buy" option in App Store.
Even though I get my hands on it, I'd still appreciate some answers to the questions (if we have some experts here) :)

Please download the trial version of Logic before purchasing. Then ask your questions. You can use it for 90 days.
Hmm... At least at my location (Sweden) there is only a link to App Store from that page :(
