How can I transfer my iTunes playlists to Apple Music?
How do I import my consolidated iTunes library (including 1000+ playlists) into Apple Music?

The Apple Music app should automatically detect and import the library and playlists from iTunes if they are in the regular location.
If they are not Apple Music cannot be made to import them.
You would need to move them to the Users/[user name]/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media/ folder replacing anything there for the Apple Music app to find and import them.
