IOS 17.6.1 - cannot receive calls or texts randomly, from any number

Since updating to any version of IOS 17, I have had trouble with receiving phone calls and texts from both known and unknown numbers. After doing a lot of reading, this is a common issue. I have done ALL of the suggestions - airplane mode on/off, network reset, hard reset of my phone, factory reset of my phone, blah blah blah - the list goes on...

Has anyone found an ACTUAL solution to this? It seems like A LOT of people are struggling with this same issue..

What the solution is will depend on the cause…

Does it happen more often in a specific location? A part of town, a building, a specific room? What about time of day?

What did your carrier say when you reported the problems to them?

They only stated that it's okay because I am getting calls SOME of the time. I will say, however, I was doing just fine with the same carrier until the updates to the 17 series were happening. More specifically, it started happening at 17.4.1

After update 17.6.1 I couldn’t receive texts on my iPad. After no solution from support, I finally realized that I still had an offloaded security APP that I no longer used. I deleted it and my issue was resolved instantly! After all that I couldn’t believe it. I hope that helps. Good luck!
