How to Delete URL Suggestions (Autofill)
I am using Safari 17.6 and want to remove a URL (deepl.com) from the list of autosuggested URLs. How do I do that?
Thanks for your help!

I found an article on how to do this and posted the link, but it was removed from my reply.
"To remove specific Top Hits from the Safari address bar, you can simply navigate to the Show History section of the History menu and select the page of the Top Hit you want to delete. Right click it and select "delete."
This is a hit or miss when it comes to removing Top Hits. Move the cursor over the deep.com link in the Top Hits section, if you see an "x" icon to the right, click it to delete the suggested website.
I had a recalcitrant suggested website for which the "x" would not show. This lasted more than a month and only recently, the "x" magically appeared. I was finally able to get rid of it.
I was able to see the link in the email notification I got. I had already tried everything they mention, to no avail.
You won’t see the “x” icon in some cases; That was the case for me with this recalcitrant website I mentioned. I found that after disabling the settings related to Top Hits, clearing Safari’s history (and cookies) and making sure the website is not in your Bookmarks are the best way to avoid the site appearing. But again, it doesn’t always work.
Level 6, thank you for your suggestion, but I cannot see the "X" :)
