Hi guys - hoping someone can help with this question as I’m stumped and have searched around. My mom’s Pages color palette seems to have a glitch, it will expand but cannot be shrunk down and now it looks like this. Does anyone have a solution for this? I’ve also tried expanding with the top left corner buttons to no avail. Thanks in advance!!

Maybe you can start by clicking the green + button in the top left corner to maximize the window. Afterward, you can try resizing the color panel by dragging its four corners. Not sure if this can solve the problem.
Alternatively, you might consider uninstalling and reinstalling the software, which could provide a straightforward possible solution.
