How to prevent my child from changing restrictions on Family Sharing on iPhone?

Hi,

I transferred my son’s data from his old phone onto my old phone but now he has the family sharing on there which is fine but it’s showing like it does on my phone and giving him the option to change all the restrictions. It was not like that on his old phone. Didn’t show the family sharing where he can change the restrictions like I can from my phone.

hope that makes sense?

how do I remove that option off his phone?

To prevent your child from changing Family Sharing settings on their iPhone, follow these steps:

1. Ensure Family Sharing settings are managed correctly.

2. Configure Screen Time settings on your child's device. Set a Screen Time Passcode to prevent changes.

3. Limit access to the Settings app.

4. Set daily limits for the Settings app.

5. Manage App Store and iTunes settings.

6. Verify restrictions are effective.

7. Manage settings remotely.

8. Remove a device from Family Sharing if needed.

By following these steps, you can restrict your child's ability to change Family Sharing settings.
