Apple Badge Notifications stuck

As of yesterday, one of my apps(the patreon app in specific) is reading as having two red badge notifications even though upon entering the app there is nothing new, no new notifications as far as the app itself is concerned, and disabling push notifications within the app does not fix the issue.

I have tried various potential fixes such as:

• Disabling and re-enabling notifications both within the app and my phone’s notification settings.

• restarting my phone both with notifications still enabled and while disabled(afterwards re-enabling them shows the badges still there)

• Deleting the app, which logs me out and redownloading it(a simple redownload without logging in still shows the badges, but without logging in there is no ability to change app notification settings either in the app or in phone settings)

• Finally I have also tried restarting my phone while the app is uninstalled but immediately upon it’s reinstallation the badges reappear.

I am fairly certain at this point the issue is an apple issue as there is at least one other article here on these forums of the same issue that never received an answer.
