I’m trying to connect my guitar to garageband through the M-audio M-track 2x2 but I’m getting no sound. I’ve checked the audio preferences and track input already selecting the audio interface but I still don’t get a signal. All the cables are connected and volumes are on.
Does anyone know what could be happening?

You might check with M-Audio.
Make sure it is allowed in the privacy settings:
Change Privacy & Security settings on Mac - Apple Support
You could also be having Mic mode issues:
M-track doesn’t work on Garage Band
