How do I get 2 HomePod minis to communicate?

Last Christmas I purchased two Ipod minis to communicate between two bedrooms which were rarely used. One was disconnected and moved. Now I can not get that to respond. I would like instruction as to how to get it reconnected. I am much older now and my brain does not work like it used to, lol.
