Apple TV glitches after HomePod as default audio

In the Home app, I set my Apple TV’s (Gen 1 4k) default audio to my HomePod. Now, the audio cuts out every thirty seconds as it’s constantly switching between two HomePod-Iconed sources. Eventually, the video pauses (continues to switch back and forth) and says Airplay could not connect. Though, I’m not Airplaying anything…


Before switching the default audio, I would manually connect to the HomePod every time I turned on my TV and I had no issue.


What’s going on!!
