Why am I not receiving WhatsApp notifications on my iPhone?

Hi,

I recently bought an iphone 15 pro, running on sw. 17.5.1.

I do not get notifications when I get a message in whatsapp since 2-3 weeks. There is a badge on the icon but nothing in the notifications. How can I solve it?

I made the search already, turn on/off notifications in whatsapp, didn't solve. Reset the notification settings in whatsapp, didn't solve problem + it brought more problems, now all the notification settings in, facebook, linkedin and instagram has also reset.

I am here to search support, so is there a solution anyone knows? Thanks.

No, it is off.

But I feel no one is reading the text I wrote.

The notifications are showing randomly, for some people I get notifications and for some I don't. However it is not 100% working like that. Let's say, from person A, I get notifications 70% of the time and from person B, only 30% of the time. Then these ratios changes day by day.

I even tested, having the phone in hand, the person writes me. No notification in the lock screen.

Sometimes there is sound but no notification, sometimes nothing at all.

It is completely random.

This is not the right answer. Notifications work sometimes and do not work other times. It is not about turning on lock screen notifications. They are already on.
