How can I bypass the Windows 11 minimum system requirements error on MacBook Pro?

I’m using a 2017 MacBook Pro (With Touch Bar). I began creating a windows partition using Boot Camp Assistant but the .iso file I selected prior to creating the partition was a Windows 11 version and I see now that I should have selected Windows 10 and then upgraded to 11 after. Either way, I’m stuck in the first steps of setting up windows once you select your language, and then are prompted to enter product key, and then select Windows 11 version. Any selection I make for windows 11 version, I am met with a message saying that my computer “doesn’t meet the minimum system requirements to install this version of Windows.” I see no option to go back beyond the language selection step and therefore am stuck. To make things worse, my 2017 MacBook Pro has Touch Bar, which, like many others, just flashes white randomly and doesn’t show visible selections so bringing up F10 to get to command line hasn’t been an option either. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

The difficulty is that Macs are unable to provide the Device Security needed for Windows 11, namely Secure Boot and the Trusted Platform Module (TPM). There are ways to circumvent these requirements, and I managed to do it a couple of years ago, but I cannot recommend them, as I found that things stop working sooner or later. See also Advice from Microsoft . With my Intel Mac, I fled to a Parallels virtual environment, where Device Security is capably implemented, and there is a measure of support both from Apple and Microsoft. If you do go this way, use a trial version to make sure it works as you want it to before going all-in. You can transfer it to another Mac when you upgrade.
