Why am I unable to receive Comcast.net emails on my iPad and iPhone?

Cannot receive comcast.net emails on either my iPhone or iPad. Tried everything, but won't work. Have the latest IOS updates. Tried deleting and reentering comcast email info. No help from Comcast who directed me to contact Apple Support. Please help!

This is 100% a Comcast issue, no matter who they try to blame.


FIRST: Do you use VPN? If so, delete the VPN profile in Settings/General/VPN & Device Management/VPN. Don't just turn it off; delete the profile.


NEXT: Go to Settings/Mail/Accounts, tap on the Comcast account, and delete it.

THEN: Restart your iPhone - Apple Support

FINALLY: Go to Settings/Mail/Accounts, tap on Add Account, and enter your Comcast information


Do you have 2 factor authentication set up with Comcast? If you do, go to their security page and create an Application Specific password. I doubt they do, but I’m just covering all bases.
