Audio Skimming frame by frame whilie playhead skimming turned on is lost in FCPX 10.8?

Hi,

With an update to 10.8 I found out to my regret that audio skimming frame by frame is not possible anymore while playhead skimming mode is on. It is totally ruining my editing practice as i was normally used to work with playhead skimming turned on and using frame by frame audio trimming to match audio beats. Is it a bug ar apple is changing something that always worked? The only way now to listen audio frame by frame is either moving mouse cursor over preview canvas which is nonsense or turning playhead skimming off which wastes a lot of my time now because i have to switch between modes with every cut. Is there any way to fix this or is maybe apple going to fix this issue ?
