Airport Extreme BaseStation with model number a1143 is rapidly blinking amber yellow light when plugged in. Cannot be detected via LAN or Wireless( No Wireless display). Already done rest, soft and hard. Nothing happens. Still blinking yellow light rapidly. equipment has been stocked for sometimes now. Just plugged it in and this happens.
At the back, all the port are on solid green.
Please help.

Would it be possible if maybe I change the battery? Want to try it.
It's not the battery. If it was, there would be no lights at all on the AirPort.
Try a replacement outboard power supply. Amazon has them. Search Power Supply for AirPort Extreme. About $15 as I recall. If it doesn't work, you should be able to return it for credit or refund.
Two possibilities:
1) The reset button on the back of the AirPort Extreme is stuck. Normally, you should be able to feel a positive "click" when you press and release the reset button.
If you are the do-it-yourself type, you can open up the AirPort Extreme to get at the reset switch and try to remove what is likely a plastic obstruction that has broken.
2) Less likely, but possible. The AirPort Extreme is fried after 14-15 years of operation.
I opened the AirPort Extreme, reset button seems to work fine. I can hear a click.
I hope this isn't fried. It was okay when I stopped using it. Just trying to use it again after I found it on my stockroom.

Hi sorry late reply. Unfortunately I cant be able to purchase the link you have given. I am located in the Philippines and the Amazon won't allow me to purchase.
I however, purchase different AC/DC Adapter with 12V 3A output. Nothing changed, still the same problem.
Check the Airport Utility found in your Utilities folder for any errors. It could be a "Double NAT" situation if your router is also set to allow a WiFi connection.
Double NAT would not appear with a fast blinking amber light, but would be one of several possibilities with a slow blinking amber light.
I can't. I cannot even detect the AirPort Exrtreme via LAN or Wireless(No Wireless Display).
