Apple Watch leaving red rashi Circle underneath sensor on my wrist

Been using an Apple Watch from the beginning of time and always updating to the new one out in the market. Today for the first time when I took off my watch noticed a red circle right with a sensor is. As I smear my finger over it it disappears and returns immediately. I have no skin allergies to anything whatsoever it also kind of looks like a rash

You may have contact dermatitis caused by an allergic reaction to the Nickel in the metal cases, bands or Sapphire crystal. Nickel is used in the hardening process of stainless steel, aluminum and sapphire crystal.

>>In fact, it is estimated that more than 18 percent of people in North America are allergic to nickel, including 11 million children in the U.S.<<

I’d go to a dermatologist or allergist and get a diagnosis and recommended treatment. I’ve had rashes from an oat allergy I’ve had. Rashes developed on each forearm and when I discontinued eating oats, rash went away. Now, many years later, I can eat oats with no issues. Sensitivities and allergies can come and go. I hope things work out for you.
