i need to remove the previous apple account on this ipad but i don’t have any access to it because it was my moms account but she passed away and she left nothing she left no trace of any sort of password i need help getting rid of my recent apple account that belonged to my mom that passed away and i have no accsess to her account and im not sure how to remove it because her account was on ipad and i jus need to remove her apple id to use it

Apple ID if i go to a Apple Store can they delete a Apple ID off a phone without a password? One of my relatives has my old iPhone 5 and it is asking to put the password for Apple ID but I can’t remember it. Can Apple delete the Apple ID off the phone? Please help
