Second day with the phone and had to charge it twice today and it’s back down to 19% after normal use…No apps running on background or extended use, battery health at 100% 🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️

Try and force restart the iPhone to see if the issues persist
The 2nd issue is that during charging the mobile becomes heated. I don’t know before I had iPhone XS max its battery was good compared to my new iPhone 15 pro Max
I am having the same issue and apple will not take the phone back. I have had it less than a month. $2k for a phone that I can't even use in a normal capacity. I am tethered to a battery charger & babying this phone like it is a Fabergé egg. Ridiculous. Apple putting out phones with known issues then saying "too bad" you're stuck with it. Loyal customer - all apple products - I am DONE WITH IT. The MacBook Air screen issues cracking was pushing me toward leaving apple. THIS $2k phone is the LAST STRAW.
Same!!!! The phone heats up like a heating pad when in any kind of use more than 5 min.
