HomePods are playing the wrong song

Hello,

all our HomePods are playing the wrong songs. We will say "Hey Siri, play X from my library", Siri will respond "now playing X from your music library", but then plays a totally different song.

We have also tried to ask it to play a specific band or singer and it will echo back exactly what we wanted but goes on to play something completely different.

So far we have:

1) Updates all our devices

2) Removed the HomePods from our home app and reset them and added them

3) reset all our routers and do #2 above.

4) removed the home app from our iPhones and start all over again with installing the HomePods.

None of the 4 above have worked. Thanks for your tips!

Having a similar issue with one HomePod (1st gen) and 2 minis and ApppleTV etc. The HomePod only responds with Pandora, usually something bizarrely off. For example "Siri, what's the latest news from NPR" triggers a Pandora radio station of some pop music. I walk in the next room where a mini is, and it's business as usual - no issues.

Still an ongoing problem for me...

I think it's either the Home App or HomePods not reading my iTunes Music Purchases correctly... As in it's an account issue rather than a hardware issue...

A few things I've noticed -

The random tracks it always plays seem to be at the beginning of the alphabet, either by track name, artist, or album title... As if it's just starting at the beginning of the library...

It seems to play the right track when I ask for some, but not all, the music I've purchased since doing a recent update.

In the run up to this happening I did three different things -

1) Updated my HomePods to the latest OS

2) Cleared my authorised Macs as I'd reached my maximum of five and some of them were old laptops no longer in use, then reauthorised the current ones.

3) Signed into the Music App on a new (old) Mac I hadn't previously used for music.

If I ask the HomePod to play track 'A', and it plays track 'C'... If I then ask this HomePod what it's playing it will tell me it's track 'C'... So it recognises what the track is once it's playing, but can't when you're asking for it.

Lastly - It works fine if I airplay something from my phone.

Really hoping Apple provide a fix to this soon, seems to be a problem for a number of people.
