Import photos from iPhone to MacBook.

I have an iPhone 14 Pro and a MacBook Pro with an M1 Pro processor.

I wanted to give you feedback that synchronizing (importing) photos from iPhone to MacBook works just awful.

I have had Apple equipment for many years (15 years to be exact).

So, to synchronize photos from an iPhone to a MacBook, I needed to reconnect via cable to the MacBook about 200 times.

Since it only transfers up to 200-400 photos at a time.

After which everything starts to glitch and you need to reconnect. In general, working with photos turned into a real nightmare.

Not user-friendly.

Need to fix this.

Maybe someone can tell how they sync the iPhone photos library to the Mac?

If you want to talk to people at Apple, this is not the place-- we're all just users like yourself. You an leave feedback here:

My best guess (and really, any of us here just have to guess) is that Apple is less and less interested in supporting transfer of data by cable. (There have always been rumors of Apple removing that port entirely, and using magnetic charging and transfers by wifi and bluetooth. I don't think I believe that, though.)

Now, by far, the most efficient method of transferring pictures between the Mac and the iPhone is by using iCloud syncing. You turn it on, wait awhile, and you see thousands of pictures have transferred across. Apple will continue to support that sort of thing, I think, and cable transfers will not get much attention.

Again, this is speculation...

Hi Richard. Thank you for the feedback! And thanks once more for the recommendations about the instruments, which I can use for comfort transfer of media (photo/video).

But, actually, I did all of this before and it doesn’t work as it should. Maybe there is a additional software solution which can so it just normal :)
