My MacBook Pro 2021: M1 Pro chip, macOS 14.4.1 (23E224)
Every time I play a video file like MOV, MP4 (recorded by my iPhone 15 Pro or screen recorded by Quicktime on Mac) it always hangs after about 30-60s of playing and automatically restarts.
I have tried playing with Quicktime, Preview, VLC but I get the same results.
Does anyone know why?

The problem is solved, but I don't know why. Here is what I did as you suggested:

Safe Mode also clears some caches. I see that as a probable solving action here; erasing anything erroneous.
