brightness rises while watching videos

While watching videos, no matter the app (instagram, TikTok or Facebook videos), the brightness on some videos will randomly up. I’ll swipe to a different video and the video will go back to normal. If I close the app and reopen to the same video, the brightness will be normal. I’ve tried check to see if I had auto brightness and other suggestions. Nothing has helped so far. The video will be bright and the caption and comment sections will look darker
