Spam Group FaceTime Calls with over 32 members

Last night, at 1:30am, I received a random FaceTime call with tons of people on it. I obviously didn’t answer and silenced the FT until it ended. Two minutes later, another FT with even more people added to the call. This repeated for about 30 minutes and then stopped. I was too afraid to pick up the video call.

I read a post here from 2019-2021 describing the same issue. It wouldn’t let me post so I had to start a new convo. Has anyone else experienced this? It woke up me, my husband, the baby in our room, and it messed up my whole day today!

We got the same thing today. I had set FT to be used on our 2 phones and my iMac. All of a sudden today we started getting FT Audio requests on all 3 devices. I finally had to shut FT down in order for them to stop. Impossible to block all the incoming calls. I would delete the current one and a few seconds later another would start. I made the mistake of answering one and heard a lot of voices in the background. I quickly shut it off and then disabled FT. I will use FB Messenger if I really want to quickly have a video call with someone.
