11pro screen wakes with black screen with white lettering while charging at night

Same, iPhone 11 Pro Max. Seeming how this will degrade the screen from being on all night, Apple should really prioritize this. The last update didn't fix it though, so apparently they're not.

Mine is doing this as well. It does not matter what kind of charger I use. I have used the usually plug in charger and the one the phone lays on. In both instances the screen goes black with white lettering. If I touch it the wallpaper comes on and then the screen turns off as usual when I press the button on the top right side. Phone still works fine it’s just annoying waking up and my phone is lit up.

I have the exact same problem with my iPhone 11 Pro and my wife’s iPhone 11 Pro. It happens to my phone every night. It happens to my wife’s phone also but not every night. It’s strange and I can’t figure it out but it’s really annoying.

Seems to be an issue with the Optimized battery charging notification, many people, myself included always see that notification whenever this happens, maybe try turning it off, I know what your thinking battery degradation, but screen burn in is the real risk of having you display on all night like that, having to change you battery a bit earlier than usual will be worth it to save you from having to change your screen

The same happens to my iPhone 11 PM, but not always and after an indefinite period of time from when I put it on charge
