MacBook Pro 2017 Ventura 13.6.6-Photos Version 8=

On photos of people not identified automatically I have followed directions explicitly for adding names manually which works showing names added on photo. many will stay permanently however many of them added manually will disappear . This might take 1hr or a day. Have repeated procedure and same thing will happen.Thus there is no way to get this photo in to peoples album for that person.It seems these names entered manually are wiped out as computer does search for identifying people. Anybody else having this problem? Any other way to get photo improper peoples album? Thanks
