Just upgraded to iphone 15 pro, facetime now asks me to invite when i attempt to facetime contacts that are on iphones

Facetime "Waiting for others" Ever since updating my phone to iOS 15, FaceTime no longer lets me call my iCloud account on my son’s iPad, daughters iPhone or anything, which is signed in with my iCloud account. Why is this happening? It leaves the comment “waiting for others” when I attempt to FaceTime the iPad using my iCloud account or phone number. I always used to be able to call the iPad or other iPhones, using my one main Apple ID / my iCloud account information, on all the devices, until I made this iOS update. Please help with a fix. Missing FaceTime option on some contacts! I have an iPhone 13 Pro and on a couple of my contacts the FaceTime option won't highlight or work! I've used it plenty of times before as it's the contact for my grandchildren! Changed on the last update...ios 17.4.1 Can anyone help me get this option back???

Just because someone uses and iPhone doesn't always mean they are logged into Facetiime.
