Barcode scanning not working with 7th gen iPad w/ iOS 17.4.1

For 7th gen iPads running iOS 17.4.1, I have found that using the scan feature on the keyboard no longer works for scanning barcodes. It works for scanning QR codes but not for bar codes. When I try to scan a barcode, the camera never recognizes the barcode. This worked several months ago with iOS 16. Note, the app I'm using this with is Hexagon's EAM Offline app. I'm working with the software vendor as well but was wondering if anyone else was having issues scanning barcodes with this iPad version and iOS version.

QR codes scan fine, barcodes don't

Tested on iphone 13 Pro --> works fine

tested on 2 Ipads (gen7) --> does not work

tested on Ipad Pro(11 inch) --> works fine

Please fix asap

Same issue here, but with 6th gen iPads on 17.4 and 17.4.1

We're seeing the same problem with an application called Contentstrack. It works on every other device except iPad 7 running iOS 17.4.1

I am also having issues with barcode scanning in TMS Sidekick app. Will work on other devices using the app but not the iPad. Tried everything under the sun to no avail.

I am also facing the problem scanning GS1 barcodes after updating iOS to 17.4. It worked well before OS update

Tested on iPhone 13 & iPhone 14 Pro.
