How do I change the color dots on my Calendar?

IS there anyway to color code the dots on your calendar so that they are not all showing grey, I know you can color code your appointments however the dots that appear when you look at the calendar in monthly view it is full of grey dots, I was hoping for a way to not only color code the appointment(s) but also the "notification dots" when you are looking at the entire month I.E. blue for medical, purple for financial, green for meeting(s), teal for holidays, and/or be able to make a custom color for multiple appointments without having to download/pay for a third party calendar app? TIA

No, you can't change the colors of the dots. You can let Apple know that's something you'd like to see here:

Third-party apps would be the only way to get what you want currently.

Fantastical, a very nice calendar app, color codes dots by calendar.So, you could create different calendars for different things.

If you use Google Calendar, the Google Calendar app does color code dots by what you've colored the appointments. Personally, I don't find it very helpful as the dots are very tiny and there is a maximum of three. I code my appointments in Google calendar so that I can take advantage of the Insights function that's included for corporate customers. The colors are kind of a side effect.

I’m wondering the same thing. I used to be able to see different color dots on my monthly calendar summary. I used to have an iPhone X, now I have an iPhone 15 Pro.
