I just purchased the third generation Focusrite Scarlet solo interface(latest software), using it with logic pro X latest software on my Mac studio. I'm getting guitar signal through the monitor but it's not picking up the effects in logic. not picking up the plug-in sounds just clean guitar coming through.

Just a guess, In Logic's Preferences/Audio, (possibly under the general tab) enable Software Monitoring, go to the Audio setting and set the I/O Buffer Size to 128. Then.... on the interface, disable direct monitoring.

How do I get into the interface software? Sounds like a dumb question but I can't find any way to get into it
My focusrite control center, the software for the interface says output routing is not supported on this device so there's no setting for disabling direct monitoring
