Remove Download Option Disappeared from Music App on iPhon

Something strange is happening with the Apple Music app on my iPhone. When I try to remove certain downloaded songs/albums to free up space (keeping them in my Apple Music cloud library but removing the downloaded file from my phone) the 'Remove Download' option is missing. I only have the option to 'Delete from Library,' which removes the songs completely. They disappear from all my devices. This only happens with certain songs/albums, seemingly at random. While it only happens with music I've downloaded from Apple, not ones I've uploaded from a CD or downloaded elsewhere, it doesn't happen with EVERY song or album I download from Apple. I've searched the community and found no real solve for the issue. Anybody have one? I use an iPhone 13 running iOS 16.6. Many thanks in advance.

It’s a sign that the song is still hidden. To unhide open the iTunes Store app, scroll up to the bottom, sign in/view your Apple ID, and search for hidden purchases. If no items are showing you can access hidden purchases through your Account Settings in your profile on the Music app itself (this will allow you to download but the items still remain “hidden” — use a computer to unhide music).
