Udisplay triggers “Will Damage Your Computer” error

Yesterday, when I powered on my MacBook M2 and attempted to connect it to my secondary monitor, I encountered an error stating, "Udisplay will damage your computer, you should eject the disc." I entered Safe Mode and promptly backed up my Mac using Time Machine. Following the guides below, I proceeded to clear out everything within the /Library/LaunchDaemons, /Library/LaunchAgents, and ~/Library/LaunchAgents directories. Since my Mac is relatively new, there weren't many files in these folders, making it easier for me to identify and delete everything.

Removing "Search Marquis" / "Search Baron… - Apple Community

this is how it looks now:

My google Chrome was slow, I thought that the problem could be coming from it so, I entered in every profile and deleted any possible extension that could be causing it and the same for Safari, Firefox, Brave and Opera, checked every home page preference, notifications and apps on the app folder and deleted everything I could think could be causing the issue. The issue persisted so I completely deleted google chrome from the computer.

I examined User settings> Extensions, Profiles and groups to look for anything unfamiliar with no success.

I also went to the ~/Library/Application Support folder and deleted the most recently added folders that I suspected could be causing the issue, now it looks like this organized by added date:

The problem persists, I just don't know what else to do.

With a lot of effort and contacting the supplier, I solved the problem.

Solve:

you can see the [UDisplayRepairTool] program!。

4、 Double-click the UDisplayRepairTool icon in the runtime console.。

5、 Insert the device, ignore all warnings, and wait for [UDisplayRepairTool] to recognise

the device!。

6、 After identifying the device, enter the repair state, at the same time the software will

show below [Start Repair] will light up。

It was created in 2001? That makes no sense. Where did you come across this app? Did you download it, or...?

Its location ("Where: UDisplay") doesn't make a lot of sense to me either.

Please do me a favor. Download and run EtreCheck. Post its report in a reply to this Discussion.
