Location sharing issues

I share location with a few contacts and have no issue with seeing theirs and vice versa. However, one contact is the most recent one and he see’s mine but on his it says “No location found” but he is sharing location indefinitely, I even did the process myself just to be sure. I have read up on all the steps to troubleshoot but nothing has worked and only for this one contact. He has a new iPhone 15 and I’m still using an iPhone 12. Could this possibly be the reason why?

I have the same problem. According to a chat with Apple support it is due to the fact that I have not switched to 2 factor authentification. And I will not because it would inconvenience me. Not cool Apple, you want to force people to switch to 2FA or else they lose functionalities they had before. :(
