YouTube comments fading/blanking on iPhone 15 Plus

If I move away from the YouTube screen and then come back barely 5 mins later I notice that the YouTube comments have ‘whited-out’ completely. They don’t just disappear just fade out, so I only see an extremely faint outline of words behind a totally white screen. However, the user handle is still bold and I can see that fine. This is infuriating on my brand new iPhone 15S (IOS 17.4)as I never had the same problem with my old iPhone 6S. The only way I can overcome this problem is by totally shutting my phone down, but it is so annoying to do that, every time.

This is a bug ever since updating to 17.4 I’ve been having the same issues and 17.4 came out yesterday still hasn’t been fixed with the update.

Close the app and open YouTube again. This is what I do.

YouTube is not an Apple Product. Contact the app developer here --> App Support or YouTube Help - Google Support

This is a bug ever since updating to 17.4 I’ve been having the same issues and 17.4.1 came out yesterday still hasn’t been fixed with the update.

That’s for the suggestion, but I’ve already tried this and it still hasn’t fixed the problem. I have also deleted the app and reinstalled but that doesn’t work either. Prior to that I tried offloading and reinstalling the app via iPhone storage in the settings. That didn’t work either. Whenever, I go to YouTube for help they never reply. However, if I go back to using my old iPhone 6S I don’t experience any problem at all with the YouTube comments fading out, so I believe it has something to do with the new IOS software on the iPhone.
