Quicktime stopped Recording video after 10 minutes, but did record all audio till the end.

Quicktime stopped Recording video after 10 minutes, but did record all audio till the end. Could the video be somewhere to find or restore?

I tried restoring the video with third party software like VLC and another. No results and the weird thing is that the last shot that is drawn over the last part without video is a still image of the end of the video.

Someone any idea what happend?
