Why is "ExitUpsellKeyValueStore" file set up on new MacBook Pro

It's an Apple TV file. If you open it with a text editor, you can see the list of free episodes you played. For example, mine had:

Which is Dark Matter - https://tv.apple.com/gb/show/dark-matter/umc.cmc.4luj45vtqpmjsvb6sc2675oeg

Note the Id is the same as the URL.

Also just found this on my Mac. absolutely no idea where it came from. I have a rough idea of what I did when it was created but am very confused by the fact that it was in my Documents folder instead of Downloads. I could see accidentally downloading something with a wrong click but that wouldn't end in Documents. Anyway checked my Computer and it doesn't seem like there is anything else.

Just curious if maybe more People come across this now.

I literally bought my MacBook a few days ago and just saw it. I deleted the file, but I have no idea what it is.

I highly doubt that it's malware, since I only downloaded a few trusted apps so far. I have also not connected to a public WiFi connection yet.

Same problem here on a 2020 27 iMac. Also on day of the install. Can not be malware as it was a clean install (or it is from some program that I installed the first day, which is barely anything). I installed it on May 25th.

It's a malware. I have also faced the same issue, then I talked to apple and they confirmed me that it's a malware and I must delete it.
