Videos in hidden album freeze on frames

I have some videos recorded on my phone that I have moved to the Hidden album as I want to keep them private. A lot of the more recently filmed videos are having issues playing though. They will start but then freeze on frames and the sound will continue to play. I have restarted my phone, used a variety of different wifis and mobile data, tried duplicating the videos, played them on my Mac as-well as the phone and nothing seems to work. I don’t know if it’s an internet playback issue or a data issue and if the original “content” is gone for good. How can I fix this?
