Whatsapp Duplicate Photos Issue

Ive been trying to figure out why every time I receive a photo in WhatsApp, it duplicates and saves to my photo album. I really thought it was something id done accidentally but now researching I’ve realised from everyone else im not alone! Ive come across a solution from another user that actually worked! So thank you Bern8888! 🙂
