Volume on my AirPods Pro going to 50% at connection

This happens to my AirPods with every device I connect to. The AirPods starts playing at 50% volume, regardless of what volume I left it on when disconnected. How do I make my AirPods increasing the volume on every connection?

AirPods Pro too loud even on lowest volume setting I've recently bought a pair AirPods 3rd gen and when I use them connected to my iPhone they are much too loud, even on the lowest volume setting. Low volume in 2nd generation airpods My airpods are working but are at a very low volume even when volume is turned up to full on my phone. Happened all of a sudden. I have reset the airpods following instructions on the website but it hasn't fixed the problem.
