How to use AirPods Pro as a mic for gaming?

When I play games and use airpods pro, the mic in the game uses the cellphone mic instead of the airpods mic. How to switch to airpods mic?

To switch the microphone actively used by your iPhone to your AirPods’ microphone, follow these steps:

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Tap Bluetooth.
  3. Find your connected AirPods in the list of devices and tap the (i) icon next to them.
  4. Under the “Microphone” option, choose either “Always Left” or “Always Right”.

Now, when you’re on a call or recording audio, your iPhone will use the selected AirPod’s microphone instead of the phone’s built-in mic. If you encounter any issues with microphone quality, try switching to the other AirPod’s mic or explore the Live Listen feature to use your iPhone mic while hearing the sound through your AirPods
