Watch OS 10.3.1 Battery Drain

I'm running a practically brand new (purchased in January) Apple Watch 9 on 10.3.1. Battery has been absolutely terrible since purchase. I'm typically up at 6am and in bed between 10 and 11 with watch charging overnight. Most days, the AW8 was between 50 and 60% at bed time. With the 9, I'm usually getting warnings before 10pm telling me to charge. This morning, the watch went from 100% to 75% in under 30 minutes after I took it off the charger. I've closed all apps, done a hard restart, changed watch face, and other things I've read would fix the issue. If they work at all, it's only temporary. When will this issue be fixed? From my reading, this has been going on for some time now.

Same issue. You can see the gradual usage before charging yesterday. Now it’s losing 15% or more per hour without doing anything. No apps open. Done several power cycles and tried to update, (stuck on preparing). Apple, don’t try and tell me I’m running something in the background, this literally happened in an instant yesterday. Also don’t say my battery is bad on my brand new series 9
