Adding Multiple photos to an iMovie on an iPad Pro

I have an existing project in iMovie for which I want to add more photos. However, it only lets me add one photo at a time. Is there any way to add more than one photo at a time? I have 900 photos to add to the project; if I go individually, it will take me forever!
