In order to avoid any misunderstanding, would it be correct to assume that you mean a US charger (similar to the mophie USB-C 20W Car Charger - Apple) connected in Ireland to a vehicle’s 12V auxiliary port?
If so, it is interesting to note that the mophie USB-C 20W Car Charger - Apple (IE) sold by Apple in Ireland appears to be identical. This should mean that a device like this can be used with most cars. However, since 12V outlets in American and European cars may have slightly different dimensions (see, for example, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Automobile_auxiliary_power_outlet), it may be wise to double-check that your charger is compatible with an outlet/port in the exact car make/model that you intend to use.
