Duplicate photos

Out of no where photos sent to me from watsapp has been duplicated on my photos app, does anybody know how to stop this

Whatsapp Duplicate Photos Issue Ive been trying to figure out why every time I receive a photo in WhatsApp, it duplicates and saves to my photo album. I really thought it was something id done accidentally but now researching I’ve realised from everyone else im not alone! Ive come across a solution from another user that actually worked! WhatsApp is set to automatically save photos but it saves twice? Anyone else experiencing this recently? On my iPhone, my WhatsApp is set to automatically save the photos I receive to Photos. This was working just fine, but a couple of days ago Photos started to save each photo twice. So now, if I receive one photo via WhatsApp and then I go to Photos, the same pic appears duplicated.
