Strange blue dots while taking a black photo with night mode

Hi I recently bought my first iPhone, a 15 Pro Max.

Curious to see how much light the sensor could capture in the dark, I tried to take a picture in a dark room with the main sensor and night mode, and I noticed some strange blue dots.

Then I tried to clean the sensor and take a picture with the main sensor covered but the dots were still there, this is an example (increase the brightness):

I don't know if this is normal or if I should ask for a replacement if this is a defect. Help please??

Does this Blue Dot appear on every photo in the same spot and same size? If no read the Wiki article below. If yes then clean your camera surface and if that does not resolve the issue then Contact Apple for support and service - Apple Support

Lens flare refers to a phenomenon wherein light is scattered or flared in a lens system, often in response to a bright light, producing a sometimes undesirable artifact within the image. This happens through light scattered by the imaging mechanism itself, for example through internal reflection and scattering from material imperfections in the lens. Lenses with large numbers of elements such as zooms tend to exhibit greater lens flare, as they contain a relatively large number of interfaces at which internal scattering may occur. These mechanisms differ from the focused image generation mechanism, which depends on rays from the refraction of light from the subject itself.

Yes, always same spots and same size after cleaning the camera (and btw it doesn’t happen with the ultra-wide).

I’m not a camera expert obviously but if lens flare is caused by light and I block the sensor to not let the light in, it shouldn’t happen (?)

For reference these are different images with different exposure times, 5s and 10s.

5s:

10s:

These blue dots get worse and worse with higher exposure times

Thank you for helping me anyway
