iphone 15 pro IOS 17.4 update touch screen completely unresponsive

I'm having the same issue plus one. I have not been able to charge my phone using a cable. I am using a MagSafe power bank. I thought maybe there was an issue with the software so I updated my phone to 17.4 and now my phone looks like it has been factory reset and the touch screen is unresponsive.

The reboot you shared worked for me, but it did not fix the issue. The screen is still unresponsive after the reboot.

Factory reset/restore via iTunes from DFU mode worked to get the screen responding to touch again.

Tried suggested method got it to DFU and itunes retoring. Then it locked up and now at just a black screen. No response to any buttons now. Help!!!

Button sequence did not work for me. I ran update again through Macbook, and that resolved the issue. However, when I first plugged my phone into Macbook, it would not charge. When I plugged it again after 2nd or 3rd try, it was charging. While redoing update, I was on with Apple support chat. They indicated that it may take 3-4 tries updating via Macbook before issue would be resolved. Fortunately, it only took me once. Thanks, once again, Apple, for wasting so much of my time.

This was really helpful it hasn’t done it since I’ve done this.

Me too facing same problem and its very painful, kindly provide a simillar solution which is working previously

To get it back from the black screen I had to place it on charger for minute.

Got it fixed from authorized repair shop. It is only happening to the iPhone 15 pro. Took the shop ten minutes to repair. No fees.
