Phone & FaceTime App saved to iCloud?

Everything I’ve read listing everything saved to iCloud, I can’t find anything that says phone or FaceTime apps save to iCloud and you can toggle on/off save to iCloud like mine does. It’s after all the typical iCloud apps and before my 3rd party apps. I’m hoping this is normal but can’t find anything to back this up. I would think it saves your call log ? But no where confirmed this & trying to figure out where the breach is in my phone.
