I recently updated from the non-Windows Store version of iTunes to Apple Music via the Windows Store on Windows 10.
If I try to change my default audio device, which I do frequently throughout the day between speakers or headphones, Apple Music will not switch over to the new audio device. I have to exit out and restart the app for it to update to the new device.

iTunes has the same issue by default, the way to fix it is by going to Edit / Preferences / PlayBack / Play Audio Using: Direct Sound (Instead of using Windows Audio Session).
I combed through the Apple Music app in windows searching for this setting because I'm having the same issue with the audio output not switching devices. Unfortunately, it seems this setting wasn't ported from the iTunes app when creating the new Apple Music app.
This is quite annoying as I constantly hop on and off calls and I can't be restarting the app every time I need to switch.
I hope the setting is added again soon cause I have yet to find a solution for this.
